When I started Boss Mom, I promised to share with you only the products and services that I love and use myself. This week I am excited to share one of my secret passions with you. I’m talking, of course, about personalized stationery.
Ever since my mother bought me my first set of Hello Kitty note cards as a little girl, I have always loved stationery. Actually, I’m a little bit obsessed; I love it so much I have more than nine sets. I like to think of stationery and greeting cards as an extension of my personal style.
So when my friend Kalyn Johnson, a former powerhouse corporate attorney-turned fashion stylist and lifestyle guru, told me she was launching Effie’s Paper, an on-line stationery company, I was thrilled.
Kalyn is one of the most stylish people I know and I knew that she would have a unique take on personalized stationery. Effie’s Paper now boasts ten different collections. Many of the designs are inspired by her travels around the world to locales like Anguilla and Buenos Aires. I am a huge fan of her Jetsetter line which features gorgeous textile-inspired designs.
For the stylish man in your life she even has a line for men called Bespoke Bloke (love that name!). The line features masculine patterns in argyle and tartan plaid, all perfectly customizable for the man in your life.
Her newest line, Oh Baby! is a wonderful collection of personalized note cards for children. I can hardly resist the super cute designs with names like Mr. Roboto, Big Wheels and Honey Bunny.
The Oh Baby! collection also features matching mommy calling cards perfect for sharing with new friends to schedule play dates or for networking at school or social functions.
I am thrilled to partner with Effie’s Paper to give one lucky winner a delightful set of personalized stationery from the Oh Baby! collection. Entering is easy. Simply do the following:
I’ll announce one lucky winner on Saturday, October 6th. Good luck and don’t forget to tell me about your favorite design in the Oh Baby! collection in the comments to win.
Update: Congratulations to reader Ginny who one a personalized set of Honey Bunny stationery from Effie’s Paper!

Would love the Pretty as a Princess! I always have my girls send thank you notes when they receive gifts! Now that Olivia is old enough to writer her own I’d love these w/her name to have as her personalized stationary for notes to friends and family!
What a fabulous giveaway! I’m a total stationary junky… I love the chickadee collection – adorable! Although I don’t have 3 little chickadees, I do have one on the way arriving in December and plenty of thank you notes to write in the meantime! Thanks for the opportunity and sharing such a fun collection! 🙂
What great timing! Like Becky, with baby on the way, my first shower is this weekend. So Honey Bunny would definitely give me a fun excuse to knock out those thank yous. Thanks for introducing Effie’s Paper!
Love the Sneakers! I am always searching for something special to write on in my car – ranging from a quick note when returning a baking pan to another mom at Noah’s school, forwarding picture CDs, and the list goes on. What a great idea! Thank you for sharing Effie’s Paper!
Fun! I love stuff like this. The Big Wheel design is my favorite of the Oh Baby collection. It’s cute and simple, and it says “boy” without being cartoonish (which is hard to find!). I also love the blue-green color combo. Makes me think of a certain leadership development provider… =)
I love the BoyGirl cards! Both of my daughters periodically receive gifts from friends. This is a great way fro them to say “thank you” in a really adorable way. I often buy stationary… JUST BECAUSE! I would love to win.
Congrats, Ginny!!!
My fave is big wheels, though they are all SO cute! I LOVE handwritten thank you notes, but an terrible about sending them out myself…. I have been good about sending them on behalf of my little one though. In fact we are almost out of her current personalized stationary – perfect timing. We’d love anything from the Oh Baby line!
